Coffee's Unfiltered Story Painting

This painting was made to commemorate Albany's first National Dashiki Day celebration held on October 30, 2025 which was cohosted by Motor Oil Coffee, TJETSET, All W.R.I.T.E. Now, and Salvage & Shine.

This 8x10 acrylic painting was created by Alessandra Payne dba Salvage & Shine after learning that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee.  The painting is drawn from the Ethiopian cultural perspective featuring  Ethiopia's jibena (coffee pot) and cup with accented with patterns and colors found in the Ethiopian bible.
